I highly doubt every team's QB is NOT getting play info until 15secs in their earpiece.
Everyone acts like only the Rams can talk to Goff up until the last second...like McVay is walking Goff thru everything on the helmet comms...and no other team does that!! It's so silly! EVERY team does that!!
if the Rams relied to heavy on that HC/OC-QB comms then the Pats showed just how to beat that....
show 3 different coverages:
#1 pre snap
#2 after the 15secs and mic cuts out
#3 just after the ball is snapped
and so, it will not work anymore. Funny though...with all that the game was tied with 7min left and we had 2 TDs by Cooks just knocked away(great defense)..that game was so close with Bellichex ruining McVay's - gaming of the system by talking to his QB until last 15secs.
In the past I've specifically quoted McDaniels saying he does that with Brady.
And if the issue is mechanics, offering a few seconds of tips on reading the D pre-snap will make no difference anyway.
