And I can appreciate that view
But SB windows in this league dont last long. Ask the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles
My fear is that the Rams may have missed their opportunity and just ask Dan Marino ...they may never get another chance
IMO thats why that SB loss hurt so much
It would not be shocking at all if the Rams fell back to 9-7 or 10-6 this year just like the last three NFC SB teams have
I base that on the following:
The toughness of the NFC
The emergence of the Hawks and 49ers
The Rams amazing run at staying healthy the last two years (its been unusual to say the least)
Team turnover and losses in FA
Big contract for Goff looming
We will have to see in year three if the Rams have drafted well and can fill in some of these holes on the oline and LB. They have a gaping hole left by Suh
The truth is things change very quickly in this league and unless you have Tom Brady as your QB and Bill Belichick as your head coach
... a reason why the Rams would fall back this year?
