My biggest hope TBH is to pray Sweat or Burns somehow slips into the 20s and the Rams go after 1 of them.
I love Sweet but I think he is going in the top 12. Burns might slip into the early 20's but moving from 31 is a heavy lift and I don't even know what it would cost. I suspect at least one of our 3's this year and a 3 or 2 from next season.
I am starting to think that they will see OL and CB as major needs for 2020 but the 2 best corners are supposed to be gone by our pick and there seems to be a big drop off after that. OL may represent value at our pick if Bradbury or Dillard are still on the board.
I still think that the most probably outcome is trading down and garnering another pick as we seem need developmental prospects at TE, DT, OL, CB plus we need a backup QB. I don't see how we trade up unless we are using picks from next year which always come at a premium price.
