Schematically we run basically the old Denver zone run scheme for the most part, just not as well as they did it. Plug in a tape of that old offense. IMO this season we'll see them load the middle depth and what will be left is a full zone lineup OL along the interior.
Now Saff is a guy who fits any scheme, he's a bit of a freak in being a big and strong guy who can power or use his athleticism in zone. But they're not going to be able to give him what this market will. His replacement won't be a big power guy, but he'll be someone who can move and has good technique to fit what we do.
Letting Sully go allows them to finish that retooling in the middle of the line with more youth/mobility which is a good thing. Run game should be extremely robust next year as a result IMO.
