I'm not a fan. And to a some extent, if he's not going to be a dominant player then he's not worth having on the team (see Marcus Peters)... However, he played a lot. And he also played when starters were being taken out. He definitely put the work in. He seemed to be more active in the playoffs. I wonder if they subbed him more if he would be more effective in regular season games. That said, I'm not certain what his actual role was in the defense. Could have been a big reason for Donald's record breaking year? I don't know.
I wouldn't be disappointed if the Rams signed him for another year at a similar contract but I think I'd prefer they move on.
