My favorite team is the Rams and my second favorite team is the opponent of the Patriots. So, I was primed and expecting an enjoyable super bowl victory, but I've seen too many to know the game has to be played and that outcomes are never guaranteed.
But I was philosophical after the loss. The offense was just so poor, it's better long term that we didn't luck into a win. A win would have inebriated the Rams' mid trust from addressing some clear issues that need fixing for long term success.
I think the team is better positioned to get exponentially better after the near taste of a championship and the subsequent bitter dregs in their collective mouths. We might even eclipse the Patriots' "dynasty".
