As long as we are talking about grammar..."resign"?

How about we use the hyphen button in the word "resign" (defined as quitting or termination) to be "re-sign", which is what most of us are intending in this forum. Every time I see a post that says something like "We should resign Saffold" I always wonder why the hell we would want to get rid of such a great player...and then I realize what's actually being said...
