Goff needs time

Goff may not be the next Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning, but the Rams can win championships with him. I truly believe that. He just needs time and experience.

One thing I noticed on the interception Goff threw at the end of the game is that he needs to work on his pre-snap reads. He intended to throw to Cooks the whole time even though Gilmore was playing 10 yards off. There's no way Cooks beats Gilmore even to the back of the end zone on a go route. Yeah, you can talk back shoulder and all that but it was the wrong throw. It was too high risk. Had Goff read this pre-snap he would have looked left and seen the coverage was also soft with Woods, Reynolds and Everett in trips and he would have found Reynolds wide open for at least 5 yards on the curl and possibly more and live to play another down. I believe time and experience will help him with this.
