LOL...very true... I do say that every year!!

I think cuz there's been a solid group of players in the 2nd and 4th rounds in there where good drafting can score some cheap talent...ala the 2017 draft.
And, considering we have many high profile positions filled with young talent..we can go for quantity and fill out the roster a bit. Now, if a CB drops or a DL or EDGE rusher...is our BPA at #31...I stay put and draft him.
Otherwise?

Why not get another two or three prospects out of a fairly equal group of 50-80 players? I like good depth and developing from within instead of FA and dealing away all our picks like we have the last few years. However, again, the players they traded for were good value Goff, Talib, Peters, Fowler Watson, etc and they paid good returns to get us to the SB. Now that we made the SB...we need to stabilize the roster to handle all the big contracts we're gonna need to sign...and need cheap talent to balance it out. imo

we'll see.
