That just seems unfair to me. I have no doubt Brandin wanted that pass as much as any player on that field.
On a side note, you mention that great number 1 receivers make 1 handed catches often. I have done no research on this and have nothing to back it up, but from my memory most all of those catches are receivers having to reach for a pass that is off target and they have to reach to get it. Rarely does it involve a DB grabbing one of his arms while a second DB is coming across his face to hit him at almost the exact time the ball is arriving.
It definitely could've been a catch, but would've been an absolutely incredible catch in my eyes.
