I really don't get real excited one way or another. And I do remember that topic, and I'm sure I responded in there somewhere. I love informative posts like that. I need to go find it again.
If you twisted my arm, I would tell you in all honesty, that I don't think the Rams end up with a first round pick this year. Do they trade it for a player? Maybe. Or maybe they trade out of the first to get more picks.
I'm not anywhere near where I need to be in my draft stuff, but I'm not sure there are 32 players with 1st round grades. Alyo will tell there are 738 players with first round grades, because, well Alyo is absolutely a draft nut and has seen that many guys and is like a kid in a candy store. lol
So trading out makes sense.
First round grades off the top of my head:
QB - 0
RB - 0
WR - 1 maybe 2 depending on medicals and combine performance
TE - 2
OT - 2
IL - 1 or 2
DT - 4 (3 if you don't like hitting women)
Edge - 5
ILB - 2
OLB - 0
CB - 3
S - 2
Thats 22 - 24 players. Im sure I have forgotten a couple. Not close to 32 though.
