Sorry to bust your bubble, but soccer is not a very popular TV sport in the real world here in the US.
When was the last time it was on a major network in prime time or when was the last time anybody actually talked about the big game when it comes to soccer. ESPN rarely talks about it on sports center if ever.
My kid plays it too, but it doesn't make it a popular sport outside the youth programs in the US.
My other friends are Galaxy fanatics, but I just don't get it..... My kids youth league is more exciting than the MLS.
