I honestly don't remember a single throw where he had time to look at all of the receivers and step into a throw. The D was always right there with pressure. Brady was under a little pressure too but he did have some moments where he had plenty of time to find Edelman and throw it to him. Goff didn't have any of those. I was hoping he would take off up the middle and run a few. It looked like it was open for him to do it because all of the Pats were in our backfield.
One easy example, the throw to the wide open Cooks in the back of the end zone. I don't disagree that the majority of the game he had little time. I also think the fact that the primary read was a long route had an impact because even though there were open receivers he never had a chance to get that far into the progression. But seeing the plays before our eyes instead of just the camera view, it was evident that there were opportunities that he simply missed by throwing to covered receivers. He was not pressured on every throw.
