And of course that is what Dylan Hernandez's article in the L.A.Times said. But naturally everyone put the writer down for not knowing anything and blah blah blah. I even got criticized for -heavens sake- posting the darn article. Turns out he was absolutely right -the question now is just how bad or not bad the injury actually is.
In terms of confirming it, they directly said he has inflammation of the knee. That's something that goes in and out, and it's possible to think you can play and then find out you can't.
And it;s not an injury in the classic sense. They already said he had an MRI and there is no structural damage. It's tendinitis, or a loose fragment, something along those lines. Whatever is causing inflammation. Something that can let you play when it;'s not too severe but where you're also not 100%.
