Your take on team needs and players to retain and others to let walk certainly resonates with me.
I’ll say this for the benefit of those still hurting from the SB loss.
The Rams will come out of this offseason a better team than the ‘18 version. The exact names of the incoming players are not yet known, but now that McVay and Wade have had another year to test and tinker, I feel certain that some positions will have been upgraded.

And this may be heresy to some, but an upgrade from Suh will be found. Other than the Lion and the 2 playoff games, Suh was coasting. Anybody notice that Franklin-Myers played some quality snaps yesterday? Just sayin’.
McVay needs to re-evaluate his O philosophy this offseason. Learn from the lessons taught by Belichick. Question everything before moving forward in FA and the draft.
But the Rams DID enjoy a 13-3 record against a tough schedule, so McVay hardly has to start from scratch.
Wade won me back over late in the season and certainly in the playoffs. I should have known better than to doubt him. And I think he gets 4-6 new starters for ‘19 to play with. Should be an exciting D next year.
