I think we've got to start with the schematic elements before we say he needs new personnel. This year he didn't threaten the middle of the field because he didn't want to.
Same reason he didn't run 12 personnel earlier. He was running 11 because that's what he wanted to do. He made an adjustment late in the year and I expect him to do that with all of the elements of his scheme.
He's growing; his scheme will grow. And next year it will be harder to take something away and cripple the entire offense.
If he wanted to threaten the middle of the field, I think he had the players to do it.
