1. Patsies did not cheat. Warner has nothing to gain or lose by coming right out and saying "The Patriots did not cheat." No controversy.
2. The Patsies did cheat (in Warner's viewpoint). Now it's interesting. He says they did not cheat. That would go against Warner's Christian religious beliefs not to lie. He wouldn't respond that way.
Or he says they did cheat. That bites the hand that feeds him and that hand is much bigger than he is. He also realizes that is the whiner approach and he won't go there again (as mentioned, he has dropped references in the past that something fishy went on, just not as poignant as Faulk has done).
So, he doesn't talk about it. Safest way through the question.
