Than on offense, do what is needed. Try a little bit of everything in 1st quarter and go with the flow of the game. IF the run isn't working, don't force it and get down in the game trying something that isn't in the cards until the team is too far behind and not enough time.
Biggest failure was the coach forcing the run. He first adjusted later in 2nd half and the tempo of the game was set in stone at that point. Too many runs on 1st downs that set up 3rd downs that didn't get converted. Should have abandoned the run.
