For my wife it's Jimmy Stewart.. which is why she is fascinated with zn right now who often replies to me with a Jimmy Stewart photo... (love them by the way).
"Did he know Jimmy?" my wife asks of me in regards to zn.
"OF COURSE NOT, are you KIDDING?", I reply.
"Well, maybe he does, you don't know for sure", she retorts.
"YES I DO... he did NOT know Jimmy Stewart", I scream
"You should ask him"... my wife implores.
"I'M NOT GOING TO ASK HIM I DON'T HAVE TO ASK HIM THAT BECAUSE IT'S RIDICULOUS"... I argue...
Short pause
"You just don't want to be wrong", my wife offers.
"GO AHEAD, entertain this fantasy if you want too.. I will NOT validate your delusions", I end the argument.
Very Long pause
My wife, "You hate losing an argument, don't you?"
I post JS pics for a few reasons.
1. He is iconic, and universal, and instantly recognizable, so you always get this "playing with cultural history references" effect.
2. He is so instantly elastic as an actor that you can put in search terms including his name and any emotion you want, and, you find something that is automatically representative of that emotion.
3. It's fun to have a schtick. I started it, so it continues.
4. Other possibilities have some negative connotations and he just doesnt have any.
On #2.
I have not yet searched but will now search "Jimmy Stewart slightly baffled."
Here it is.
