I found his comments to be deeply profound and extrmely mature. He basically said: "How I perform in any one game is not the issue. The issue is whether this team achieves its goal of a championship. I want to be a significant part of that, but if it doesn't work put that way, the #1 thing is that our team wins, because that makes me a winner, too."
And he had another comment that I though was wisdom you don't often see. Paraphrasing, he basically said, "This is bigger than me. Because in some years to come I won't be here anymore. I'll be old and used up and some other young RB stud will be here. But a Super Bowl victory outlasts all that. So I just want to win however that happens. It's not about glory for Todd, it's about our team winning."
I was marveling at that comment. Not because I didn't.understand it, but because he's wise beyond his years. Just... wow.
So, "pissed off?" Not quite. He holds himself to a higher standard but he does so within the context of being a total team player. He's probably annoyed at having to talk about it (you can tell he really, REALLY hates interviews in general).
