Obviously, McVay's coaching has done a lot for Jared Goff. But it bugs me that the idea of him being a "system" QB or that he owes all of his success to McVay's scheming is a persistent idea. McVay can't throw those passes, no matter how good the play is. McVay's even made statements to the effect, "I called a bad play, but Jared made it work."
I can handle whatever the outcome is on Feb 3rd, but I really, really want a 'W' with an amazing performance by Goff so that he can get the credit he's due.
