My former Co worker's Son...Reggie Northrup Jr...Former LBer for FSU and picked up by the Rams for a short bit, is friends with Gurley. I talked to Reggie's Dad yesterday. APPARENTLY, it's Gurley's ankle and not his knee that still hinders him a bit.and is the problem. Reggie Jr recently left the CFL for the new Spring League that starts soon. He's playing for Orlando under Steve Spurrier. So far in camp, Reggie Jr has REALLY impressed his immediate coach, former Steeler , Palamalou (SP??) Like I said when picked up by the Rams, the guy is a HELLUVA LBer and knows how to.....GASP....TACKLE. I mean...wrap up and DROP. His Dad said this Spring League will be loaded with scouts. It's essentially a NFL Minor League. Me?? I'm betting Reggie Jr is on a NFL Roster by Summer Camp.....MAYBE THE RAMS?????
