Amazing what belichick and his OL coach do with limited athletes.
Dante Scarnecchia is the best offensive line coach in the NFL...He tried to retire and that's when Brady was getting hit and they brought back Scarnecchia....Not only do they not sack Brady, he doesn't get touched. Need Donald, Suh & Brockers to play big along with Fowler, who has had success getting to Brady. If no pressure, it will be a long game.
I think they key is stopping the run more than pressure.
NE's game this year has been predicated in the running game. If we shut that down we have a great shot to win even without much pressure.
Brady is gonna get the ball out in 2.38 secs pressure or not. It's really hard to ever get enough pressure that fast. But bottle up the run and I don't think Brady's short passes to Gronk and Edelman will be enough.
