Bears fan: "If that kicks was just a foot to the right..."
Eagles fan: "If Alshon just makes that catch..."
Saints fan: "If the refs just make that call..."
Chiefs fan: "If Dee Ford lines up correctly..."
That's the nature of close games. There will always be a mistake, a bounce, a call, a missed call, or some other minor detail that creates a "what if" for the fans of the team that ends up getting eliminated.
Heck... when the Rams played the Patriots in 2002, the Refs failed to call an intentional grounding on the drive that produced the winning field goal...
But, in the end, the only solution is to play better and get a big enough lead that no one play can negatively swing the outcome.
So, here's my pledge... if the Super Bowl comes down to one play against the Rams, I'm not going to @#$%& about it.
