Not sure I've ever mentioned this before.. perhaps, the little gray cells grow fewer by the day... BUT...
Just possibly the greatest thing about this board, what I love about it the most.. is that we root for a TEAM. Now WHAT do I mean by that?
I have noticed among most, not all, of the younger NFL fans that they do not root for a TEAM, even though they all have favorites, as much as they root AGAINST other teams. I see it all the time... NOT praise for their team after a big win but instead smack-talk or getting in the face of the other team. They rarely praise or even mention their own team... just smack-talk against the other.
It's like, (to me anyway), their favorite team is merely token set in place to enable what they really like and that's hating on other teams. IOW.. they don't 'love' their team... we do. - JamesJM
