I really wish McVay would use Everett more than Higbee cuz Everett has much better athleticism and much more potential for explosives. imo
I really think McVay uses 3WRs as our basic cuz he likes the potential of morebig plays with 3 WRs...and cuz they all BLOCK well enough to carry out the gameplan. But, holy smokes....IF we started using 2 TEs and passed to Everett out of that more...Everett can be a Gronk type pass receiver and make big plays.
He rarely drops the ball and is a very violent runner.
I know some don't agree....but, imo, Everett is a player that can do more in this offense.

Everett is a weapon and is only getting better with more snaps.
But, from McVay’s pov, how do you take any one of a healthy trio of Cooks, Woods, and Kupp off the field?
Honestly, Higbee is becoming another weapon, too.
Our O is loaded with receiving weapons and they all block well for each other. Nice problem to have, huh?
