Lansford kick in 1983 had me just as excited. But I was 15 then and 50 now.
I'll never forget Lansford's quote after the game, when asked how he made the kick with so much pressure, and he said he'd just pick out one drunk in the stands and focus on kicking it to him. Every time I see a replay of Zuerlein's FG in slomo, I think of that quote as that the ball passes the fat, bald guy in the white Brees shirt on the way down. Lol.
