It's not knowledge, it's not foresight, but it's not based on nothing either.
I heard Gurley say in an interview that it's going to come down to which team was more physical.
That's a standard answer that a thousand players have given, but it wasn't the words, it was the way he said it.
He said it like he meant it, and like he'd been hearing it all week, and he knew it was coming.
It's the confidence that some of the others are showing and that Plaschke mentioned in his article.
It's the freshness and boldness that CJ Anderson is bringing to the offense.
My feeling is that the dominating physical game is not going to end with beating the Cowboys last Saturday.
That was merely the opening salvo in a brutal assault on the playoff competition.
They are taking that all the way to the end.
There may be some trickeration, just because the Rams like to do that, but what they are really going to be bringing to New Orleans is going to be some plain old-fashioned buttwhooping.
How great is the CJ story right now? How perfectly did this guy mesh with what the Rams needed at that moment in time when he joined them?
It's really an amazing story and it's not over.
I smell destiny with this.
