I know you all know this, but Herd, we are so fortunate to have him coaching on this team. When you hear him speak and recognize his love for the players and the team and his knowledge of the game... when you hear McVay express his appreciation for what Coach K brings and then the players and their appreciation for him as a teacher and a leader of men, you realize that he's going to be one helluva head coach some day.
Enjoy and appreciate him while he's here because its just a matter of time before he's the next head coach of some failing team.
By the way, I'd love to see Big Whit as one of our position coaches when he decides to call it a career....Lets grow from within.
I like Kromer. But he's not likely to be going anywhere. He has had a couple of scandals in the league, one in Chicago and one with Buffalo that involved off the field stuff (he was accused of striking a minor in a dispute). My sense is that he's off any team's head coach list.
