Sorry, I can't add much to those questions. Steelers were before my time and the NBA is so rigged that it's like asking if boxing is fixed. Shaq letting the air out of the balls would be along the same lines though. As great as Shaq was, it's ridiculous that he couldn't shoot better.

EDIT: now that I read your link, I don't think it's quite the same with the Steelers. Maybe it was, Al Davis seemed to always be complaining but the Steelers accused the Raiders of cheating too so maybe they were both guilty of it. Either way, if so, then yes I'd say it was cheating but again, all anyone remembers is the winner.

Some teams I think they are pushing it and others I don't even consider it. Dick Vermeil and the '99 Rams for example. If "everyone" is doing it, why have I never even questioned if that team was being underhanded in how the won it all?
