I disagree with what you said in the gametime forum a few weeks ago that Goff has "tiny" hands and should be replaced by Mannion.
This would be an example of the stalking I mentioned. It has nothing to do with this particular thread.

I disagree that conflating the last 6 games from Goff into one rating tells the whole story.
Why are you directing that disagreement toward me? I never said it tells the whole story.

I disagree that his performance against the Cardinals can be dismissed because they're the Cardinals.
Every QB plays against good teams and bad, without having people say "that game doesn't count". Aaron Rogers lost to the Cardinals in Green Bay.
Again, I never said it should be dismissed. Just taken in context. I think the Cardinals had packed it in and had given up on their season.

I disagree that his performance against the 9ers was "against 2nd and 3rd stringers". They had a few people out on offense, Goff doesn't play against them.
Could you tell me which of their defenders that day were 2nd and 3rd string?
Sherman sat the 2nd half and their whole secondary was banged up.

I disagree that because people were supposedly open on the 3rd and goal Sat, that Goff could have hit them. The blitzer was in his face right now, with hands up.
Receivers may have been open, but the passing lane wasn't. A block was missed, and Goff avoided doing the worst thing you can do down there - throw an int.
What do you mean by "supposedly open"? Gurley and Cooks were clearly open. They apparently weren't the first read so it's understandable why he didn't see them since he dumped the ball to avoid the sack. But the point is, he seemed to be primarily trying not to make a mistake more than he was trying to make a play and it's fair to wonder if that's a shift in his approach or whether he's being directed that way.
