And if that was Aaron Donald, or Suh, or our Oline, I'd be loving the fact those guys would be super fired up to have a different outcome.
Because you can use anger to fuel strength.
Here's the thing with it being Peters, tho.
My perception is that one of the problems this season is Peters playing what someone here called "hero ball".
A tendency to abandon his responsibility in order to try to make a big play.
Do I want him to make big plays? YES. But whether it's bad luck or predictability, it seems like opposing QB's and teams have been able to exploit him on this.
So now, if Peters is fired up to really show that so-and-so Peyton what it's all about, what does he do?
Does he just play smart, disciplined, assignment football?
Or does he turn the "hero ball" up to 11? And really get burned.
And if he does make a big play?
Oh, we are going to see the mother of all taunting penalties!!
