That's true. But since the knee issue deteriorated throughout the season to the point that it caused him to miss playing in two games, I just don't think a couple weeks of rest is the ticket to getting him to 100%. I'm sure at this point in the season, very few players are at 100% after getting banged up and knocked around for weeks. That doesn't mean Gurley won't play. I'm sure he will. Just don't know exactly what we're gonna get out of him when he does.
We need to see if he is a full practice this week. That will tell us a lot more. No doubt that he isn't 100%, just about no one is at this point in the season, but we just need Gurley to be effective. My guess is that he will have some sort of surgery/cleanup in the off season. Something is causing the inflammation and pain.
