I have lots of high hopes for Josh
Of them, look at last weeks highlights from ground level of Brandin Cooks TD.
While reading about Noteboom on the Rams site, the embedded video of Josh Reynolds highlights included the Cooks TD.
Why?
Because, as the play developed (camera in endzone from defensive side of ball) you'll see Josh cross in front of cam and take two defenders with him leaving Cooks in easy single coverage.
The Rams recent tendency to force the ball to Josh does have its benefits as defense may want to roll extra attention to him in the redzone.
Some of his work has been overlooked in this "what have you done for me lately" attention span
He had a TD versus KC, a nice TD against Packers, a diving in between defenders TD early in the season on ripper from the QB
I'm pretty happy with him, and out of the 2 tight end sets he does get open more readily
You just said a mouthful there, leaf.
Here’s the thing. We would all love to have a healthy Kupp available for the playoffs, of course. The combo of Cooks, Woods, and Kupp is a deadly one.
But, you know what? Reynolds and Everett have become quite effective in their own right and demand attention from any D. As such, our O is still a big handful. Maybe even a bigger threat in the running game out of the 12 personnel sets. An O more than SB worthy.
My concerns are on the D side of the ball. Our O has got this.
