Strengthen your strength. That's what he did at Baltimore with defense for years...even though they already were a #1 defense, they still used their #1's (for a guy like Ed Reed) to do it! I'm not saying we go offense on our first pick but, I think you should always seek to become stronger even on your best unit.
Plus, I'm betting some of the D is solved via free agency, as will the offense.
I wouldn't bank on a finished product having to start 2-3 rookies...that includes Obo.
One thing I do know, we are too small on defense. That has to be part of the solution and make up of this team.
All that said, they should be paying tons of attention to the defense. With so many decisions to make, and with a playoff run in your face to reduce the amount of time for addressing needs, Snead and Company better have their act together..
