Truth is that the OL is NOT being forced to "pick their poison." Everyone knows who the "poison" is on the Rams front 7. There is no strong edge rush to force the QB to step up - and there hasn't been the lockdown coverage to force QBs to hold the ball on pass plays - and STILL he's doing unbelievable things.
About the only "help" AD has gotten is that the Rams' D has been on the field a lot. The offense spent a lot of time being quick-strike and the D hasn't forced a ton of 3-and-outs. SO there've been a lot of snaps and opportunities for AD to shine.
