My family had a great experience at the game yesterday and with everything else before it. We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel next to the stadium. Great location with tons of restaurants and shops right there! The hotel had everything and the service was fantastic! We will certainly be back. Saw quite a few fellow Ram fans there. Went to a Japanese restaurant afterwards nearby and saw quite a few as well. Maybe some of you were even there?! Lots of high fives going around.
That stadium is a great place to watch a game. Top notch! We were in section 31 at about the 32 yard line. Hope none of you were the guy that had to be escorted out of section 32 and tried to keep fighting these 4 Cardinals fans all the way up the aisle. It was a bad look for sure.
As for the game...... a little disappointed that Gurley wasn't playing but CJ was such a pleasant surprise. What a great game! When Goff fumbled on the first series, my 10 year old son was like "hear we go again" as the Cardinals fans started thinking they had a chance. Happily it wasn't meant to be. Goff played well and the D played well too. Cooks took two huge shots to the head! Those were nasty in person. Surprised he made it through the game with those! Overall, it was a great experience. My kids saw their first game live and it was a victory, just like my first game live back in the early 80's on Monday Night in Seattle!
