I've been reading that teams have been playing both of their safties as deep as possible & absolutely selling out w/ everybody else in order to get as much pressure on Goff. As smart as McVAY is, ya' think he doesn't freakin know this. Sports is all about adjustments. I'm not concerned this is something he won't be able to counter / adjust to. Rather have it happen now, than surprising us in the playoffs for a second one-n-done in a row.
This has come up before. They HAVE adjusted. Rams built in a nice short passing game against the Eagles designed to counter that defensive scheme. Looks to me like they had to abandon it when they got too far behind. But when they were doing it, it was so visible that at times it was all Collinsworth was talking about.
