Did you actually see that? Goff had a guy bearing down on him. Reynolds wasn't ready - and should have been. Collins worth said the ball was too high. It wasn't.
Hard to give Goff the benefit of doubt when he was throwing it way out of bounds all night long. Probably just another bad pass by Goff. There were at least 6 misfires by him in the red zone tonight so I'm not putting that last play on Reynolds. Maybe Goff had to throw it earlier than he wanted but he still gave Reynolds no chance to make a play.
If it's the first quarter you keep that pass conservative and to the outside where nothing bad can happen. When it's the last play of the game you have to make sure the receiver has a chance to catch and/or fight for it. The defender and Reynolds could only stand there and watch it sail out of reach. That's on Goff. Who has been terrible for 3 weeks in a row.
