Very interesting video and analysis. I have a couple of issues that weren't brought up though.
He didn't mention how awful the OLine was...in most of his replays, Goff was under major duress, and I think that is important. Obviously, Goff had a bad day, BUT the OLine play deserves at least equal blame in my eyes.
Also, I don't care what defense is being played, Todd Gurley needs more than 6 carries through 3 quarters, and he needs more than one carry in an entire quarter, like he had in the third.
Agree, completely overlooking the horrific o-line play was a big miss....and yes McVay could have ran it more, but the Bears would probably still have snuffed it out the way said line was playing and the Bears defense alignments. Gurley had three runs of 9,11 and 12 yards and had another 8 runs for -6 yards....it was ugly.
Hopefully every player on offense and McVay can learn from this game and it actually helps them become a better team for it
