It was a bad game plan in Chicago by McVay. I didn't expect Goff to play well, but McVay threw him to the wolves. Dumb move.
The Giants gave everyone the blueprint on how to beat the Bears. And if you have a RB like Barkley you should watch the tape of Giants Bears and learn from it. McVay has Gurley and he didn't do that. IMO, it was a total brain fart game by McVay where his inexperience showed.
McVay should have put it on his OL all week. We are gonna run the ball no matter what the Bears show, so get ready boys. Instead he went full Mike Martz mode. All that talk about the defense made it easier to throw the ball was naive. I think he will learn from this. I sure hope so.
