It’s pretty clear he’d much rather play in California than outside in Chicago in December.
And what QB wouldn’t? I dunno, maybe Wentz or Roethlisberger. Certainly not Brees. Or even Brady now that he can’t deflate balls anymore.
So the whole glad thing is much ado about nothing.
The Rams drafted Goff knowing he’s better suited for LA. They didn’t put much if any weight on his ability to play well in the cold. They believed he was just fine in the rain and he’s proven that.
The Rams play one, or maybe 2 games a year in under 40 temps.
They won’t play another one the rest of this season, including the playoffs, and SB.
Goff will be measured by how well he does in the playoffs this year. If he plays well, no one will be talking about cold weather.
