I'm curious to know why this isn't a constant source of chatter amongst Rams fans.
And even if it occasionally does come up, I have never heard commentators mention it at all. In fact just the opposite.
May we had a defensive coordinator who isn't up to the task anymore?
Why does almost every thread looking at the D focus in on the players and not on the man who runs it and is responsible for shaping the personnel?
We all know our inside linebackers aren't up to scratch, especially when it comes to defending the run, but is Wade making the best out of this D?
He has players like Suh, Brokers, and Joyner who are playing below the level you would expect. Is that on them? Or is some of it one WP?
If a unit is underperforming on any team in the NFL the usual default way of looking at it is the man running it.
It seems to me that Wade Phillips is a sacred cow.
