I think its a mistake to say the Rams lost the game which is what your are saying (i.e. no mention of how well the Bears planned the game and how well their defense played.) I know for fans its hard to say the other team won because they played better. Its much easier to say your team sucked instead of saying the other team is better. Not sure you were around or remember the 85 playoff game the Rams had against the Bears. It was cold with a ferocious wind coming off the lakes. The Bears loaded the LOS and stopped Dickerson cold. Their plan was not different than Sunday night. Make Dieter Brock (Jared Goff) beat them but not the best running game in the business. Worded then and worked Sunday night. That just good coaching and knowing the weakness of an opponent and exploiting it. While Goff is a good qb he most certainly has some weaknesses and the Bears knew what they were and by shutting off Gurley they could go after his weaknesses.
