Wade does note the stats of how many yards Mitch has generated with his fee. I would think that the Bears would prefer him not put his shoulder at risk, but the kid is the kid, and I fully expect him to roll and run when the protections break down.

At the very end of the transcript, Gurley is asked if he'll play in the last 4 games? Uh. What dummy reporter pitched that feeble prompt?
Gurley does admit he would have liked to snap up that rushing title last year. Which leads back to McVay's own lament that he looks back on the SF game finale at home and resting starters with distress. I don't expect to rest the group in this year's finale. Sully, and Whit? Sure. And perhaps some guys like a Brockers.

Stuff this board knows all too well, but I am just assessing. This Bear defense is absolutely loaded. Phew.
