This is the week to argue which player is the best defensive player in the NFL. Luckily Monday night we will get to witness the greatness of these 2 stars.
Mack is a great unblockable edge rusher but has good as he is I would take AD over him every day of the week.
AD is doubled 73% of the time and still makes great plays week in and week out. He does things I have never seen before from the DT position. He reminds me of Alan Page but I think he is better. In fact I am not sure I have seen a DT as good as Donald.
Mack on the other hand while the best in the business right now is not Lawrence Taylor who stands apart from all outside LB as Jerry Rice and Jim Brown do at their respective positions. So in the context of comparing the to the all time greats I give Donald the edge over Mack.
It will be fun to watch these 2 guys on Monday night though I hope Goff comes through unscathed.
