There are elementary age grandsons usually present who are budding Ram fans (they're going to the Arizona Cardinals game!).
I'm trying not to be a bad example to them, in word and deportment.
So I try not to be too crazy, although something occasionally slips out.
Loud cheering and celebration of the good stuff is unrestrained.
For me, when the game is stressful, turning off the sound helps.
Somehow it creates a little bit of emotional distance, and I hate to listen to the announcers gushing over Rams' misfortune.
But I do give instructions to the players rather loudly, particularly when they do something stupid, like start fighting or jawing after the Rams just made a good play.
I HATE stopping a team on 3rd down, only to give them a 1st down on some stupid, unnecessary, unsportsmanlike penalty.
That and watching no name running backs plowing through our defense for big yards, apparently sort of escorted, rather than hindered, by our dline and linebackers.
Thump somebody, da**it!!!
Only Aaron Donald seems to listen.
That's when I'm most likely to lose my stuff. Everyone in the family knows to give me some physical space, especially if the Rams are behind.
Ramily!
