That hadn't happened all year. It was a night game with a temperature in the 60's.

I was wondering during the game why that would be happening to multiple players....it was unusual.

McVay referred to it in his post game comments....wondering if training at the high altitude had any effect on the cramping issue.

I'm sure the training staff is looking into it.

They probably did not realize that training at 6,000 ft all week would cause dehydration unless they took steps to avoid it. And if the players did any drinking...any drinking, it would dehydrate them even quicker (1 drink at 6k ft will dehydrate as much as 2 at sea level). Low landers don't understand all the ways that high altitude affects the body and you won't get used to it in a week. High altitude will drain you of fluid much quicker, and if you are working out, much much quicker, and if you drink at all...anyway, I think they returned to sea level dehydrated and were unaware of it until they pushed their bodies real hard and cramped up.

If that's the problem, that's on the staff.
