No way they hire Fisher, but Jack Del Rio would be a disaster too IMHO. He's not Pete Carroll, always felt Del Rio a good position coach was never Head Coach material. Now, he will be able to recruit, I will give him that, but if I'm USC, they should set the bar higher and go after James Franklin of Penn State or Kyle Whittingham of Utah and I would also try to steal Jeff Brohm from Purdue before he goes to his Alma Mater Louisville. If Lynn Swann hires Fisher or Del Rio, they will be looking to replace Swann in a few years.
