Perfect storm is correct. At some point Mahomes will have to throw into tighter windows and he will have to always have a guy like Hill healthy to make it really work.
Trips in the back field is not going to be a thing long term but it is a thing of beauty when you embrace the concept of putting your players in the best position to win given their current configuration.
Mahomes physicality and athleticism is a plus, a lot like Dak Prescott but he also is not running like Russell Wilson or Cam Newton. His style reminds me of a larger RG3 and his fearlessness a little of the moxy of young Luck, it is a style that lends to injuries and spectacular wins. Those are the types of things that can cause a player to lose some of there sheen if the injuries start to mount. Right now he is deservedly on top of the heap but he is one very skill player away from having to prove himself for long term viability. I love watching this kid and I hope he beats the odds. If he will shed some of the risk taking and focus on the accuracy then he can be better than his Favre comps and more like Aaron Rogers in his prime.
